What should I do if Larzio download fails？

Why does using Larzio require so many permissions？

Larzio is an analog radio app designed for instant messaging. To ensure smooth use, we require the following permissions:

Microphone permissions: This is the core function of the radio. The app will enable the microphone to transmit your voice only when you press and hold the Speak PTT button, and there will not be any recording or eavesdropping in the background.

Notification permissions: When you put your phone in your pocket, turn off the screen, or use other apps, notification permissions can ensure that you receive calls from your friends as soon as possible, just like a real radio to keep in touch at any time.

GPS positioning permission: will not secretly track or record any of your whereabouts. GPS only works at two specific times:
1 [SOS Emergency]: When you trigger it manually, trigger it through the Bluetooth button, or the system detects an accident (such as a person falling to the ground) and issues an SOS, the App will "real-time grab" your current position and send it to your teammates at the moment of triggering. Once the position is transmitted, positioning will stop immediately.
2 [Friend Interactive Positioning]: When you and group members want to know each other's position (such as the team getting separated, meeting outdoors), you can share the position with each other under the premise of "both parties allow it". This feature will only enable real-time sharing when you "stay on the call page". Once you leave the call page or close the screen, location sharing will terminate immediately.

Bluetooth permission:In order for you to use the external "Bluetooth PTT button" or conduct Bluetooth point-to-point communication, the App will ask for permission to use Bluetooth.

Camera and Album Permissions: When you need to send photos, take photos or videos, the App will ask for permission to access the camera or read media files on the device.

If you still have concerns about permissions, you can adjust it yourself at any time in the "Settings" of your phone.

How do I set up my Android phone to prevent Larzio from disconnecting unexpectedly？

To keep Larzio running smoothly on your Android phone, you need to pay close attention to your "Network Connection" and "Battery Saver/Power Saving" settings.

Network Connection:
When you use Wi-Fi, the system might cut the connection when the phone goes to sleep. This can cause you to miss message notifications and voice messages. To make sure you get all your messages, change your Wi-Fi settings to stay connected even during sleep mode.

Battery Saver Mode:
When you turn on your phone's power-saving mode, the system stops a lot of apps from running to save battery. This will stop you from getting notifications and voice messages. We highly recommend turning off battery saver mode to ensure you receive everything smoothly.

What should I do if I can't receive the email verification link?

Please double-check the following

1. Make sure you typed your email address correctly.

2. Check if the email inbox is receiving too many incoming emails at once.
*Note: Sending requests repeatedly in a short period might block incoming messages. Please wait a bit and try again.

3. Check your spam/junk folder or other inbox tabs.

4. See if you have strict spam filters turned on.
If you do, please turn them off temporarily (e.g., filters that block emails containing specific URLs or emails from certain mail servers).

What if I am doing phone verification but can't receive the SMS code？

Please make sure of the following points

1. Check that the phone number you entered is completely correct.

2. Bad signal or network traffic can cause delays. Try moving to a spot with better reception and try again.

3. If you have any text-blocking or spam-filtering apps installed, they might be blocking our system's messages automatically.

4. Check if your phone is on "Do Not Disturb" mode, which can silence or hold back text alerts.

5. Some mobile carriers offer a feature that blocks commercial or automated corporate text messages. You might need to contact your carrier to check this.

6. Check your phone's storage. If your storage is completely full, you won't be able to receive new texts.

Free Group: When you make one, it sends out group invites that members have to accept before joining. Member profiles and voice records inside the group are public, meaning anyone in the group can look at them.
Incognito Group: When you create this type of group, the system automatically adds the invited members without sending an invitation note. Also, member details are only visible to the creator—other members can't see who else is in the group. On top of that, none of the voice logs sent in the group are saved.

Please check these settings to get your notifications working:

1. Check your current status:
If you are set to "Do Not Disturb," the system won't push any alerts to your device.

2. Check your chat list settings:
Look at the notification toggle next to the chat session. It needs to be set to "Red / ON" for the system to send alerts.

3. Check your device's system settings:
Make sure you have allowed Larzio to send notifications in your phone's main settings menu.

4. Double-check your network and battery saver configurations (for Android users).

Why can't I see my friend's location on the map？

I received a notification, but why can't I see the new message？

Larzio How to Connect a Bluetooth Headset with Larzio？

1. iOS
Once you connect your phone to the Bluetooth headset via your Bluetooth settings, you can start using it for your calls right away.

2. Android

If it supports A2DP: The audio will play through your Bluetooth headset.
If it doesn't support A2DP: The audio will play through your phone's speaker.
※It stands for Advanced Audio Distribution Profile. Basically, it's just a technical standard that allows two Bluetooth audio devices (like your phone and your headphones) to stream high-quality stereo sound to each other.

How to set it up: On the PTT (Push-to-Talk) screen, tap the Bluetooth icon.
Then, toggle the Bluetooth headset setting to ON.

What should I do if my Bluetooth PTT device won't connect？

Some Bluetooth PTT buttons also have built-in speakers and microphones. Because of this, the way they connect on Android is a bit different from regular Bluetooth buttons, and they need a special pairing process. Here is how you can set it up:

1. First, go to your phone's system settings and pair the device through your regular phone Bluetooth menu.

2. Next, open the Larzio app, go into the Settings menu, and select the Status and Devices page.

3. On the Status and Devices page, toggle on the option that says "Auto-connect paired Bluetooth PTT speaker mics." Once that's done, your device should be good to go!
